About us
Founded in 1976, Mouvement Fraternité Multi-Ethnique (MFME) was incorporated in 1989. Governed by the third part of the Quebec Companies Act, it is registered with the Charities Directorate of the Canada Revenue Agency.
history
Through the implementation of diverse projects, MFME has acquired nearly 50 years of valuable experience in social and community intervention, offering workshops focused on healthy living habits, civic participation, pre-employability, and practical life skills.
The sustainability of MFME, is driven by:
- Its mission, which effectively addresses the stable and tangible needs of the populations it serves;
- The strong sense of belonging among its members and the consistent, generous involvement of its volunteers;
- The continuously improved and adapted quality of its services for the community

Our Mission
Mouvement Fraternité Multi-Ethnique is a non-profit organization whose mission is to work towards improving the living conditions of individuals and families from ethnocultural communities residing in the Saint-Léonard borough. This mission is carried out primarily through activities focused on food security and initiatives aimed at encouraging civic participation.
Our Vision
In accordance with the terms of its mission and values, MFME aims to maintain its contribution, at the best of its capabilities, to the building of a just, friendly, tolerant, and inclusive society that supports the less privileged, where everyone will be able to serve others in an environment where everyone will feel free, respected, and useful.
